About Gunnar Tea

A closer look at the tea table

The vessel is part of the occasion.

A quiet cup between tasks and a pot shared across a table ask different things of teaware. Gunnar Tea focuses on those differences: the size of a cup, the shape of a handle, the space a set takes up, and the pieces you actually receive.

Our collection brings together teapots, personal brewing sets and distinctive teacups. We choose by silhouette, useful detail and how a piece sits alongside the things already on your table. A decorated cup can be the centerpiece; a plain pot can give a patterned table some breathing room.

Details before adjectives

We describe the material, capacity and set contents when that information is available. A photograph may include styling pieces, so the written packing list is the place to check what is included. We do not assume a ceramic piece belongs on a stovetop or in a microwave simply because it looks familiar.
